The sleet storm of Friday night put several of the telephone lines out of commission and the cars could not run on the Lima-Defiance road, until late Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Esther HUFFMAN is nursing William HEIDLEBAUGH and her infant daughter. The funeral of the infant daughter, one of the twins of Mr. and Mrs. Charles WADE, of Lima, was held at the Christian church, Sunday afternoon. Mrs. WADE was fomerly Miss Ella SLUSSER, of this place. W.C.T.U. meets this afternoon with Mrs. David JONES. Henry WILLIAMS and D.R. RISSER attended the state corn show at Mansfield. Mrs. John ACTON and Mrs. Kate SMITH visited with Mrs. Erma JONES Wednesday. Clint SEAMAN has rented Walter E. WILLIAMS house and will move there March 1. He will have a sale February 20, selling everything as he quit farming. Mr. and mrs. T.G. THOMAS of Leipsic, spent Thursday evening with Mrs. MILLS. Mr. and Mrs. John PUGH of Columbus Grove, visited at the home of Mrs. Sarah JONES, Thursday. Russell ROHRER has rented W.T. JACOBS' farm. Miss Lizzie LEWIS is the delgate from the local order to the Pythian Sisters convention held at St. Marys February 4. Leipsic, Oh Mr. John COWELL spent Saturday and Sunday at Fremont and Toledo. Ray MOTTER, of Piqua, was in this town on Saturday. F.M. BALDWIN, of Ft. Wayne, was here on business Sunday. Mr. Frank HAMMETT spent Sunday in Toledo. Miss Nettie PLACE spent Sunday with her sister, Mrs. Jim POST at Ottawa. On account of the storm Friday night the cars on the Ohio Electric were unable to run on time Saturday. The revival meetings at the Church of Christ closed on Friday evening. Homer PFEISTER who is traveling for the Fairbanks Soap Co., was at home over Sunday.
