Joseph and David were sons of John and Sarah (Swick) Reed. They also served in Co K, 66th Illinois Volunteer Infantry with my great-great-great-grandfather John Wesley Swick. The Reed brothers and John Wesley were cousins. They also served with Samuel Davis, John Wesley's brother-in-law. Any information would be greatly appreciated. v/r Brent Reidenbach
