BRADY returned to her home at Goshen, Ind., Monday, after several days' visit with her brother, Henry MOSIER, and wife, Mrs. MOSIER, who has been seriously ill for several days, is somewhat improved. Mrs. Allen FRIEND spent Wednesday at Vendocia with her sister, Mrs. Morris JONES. Miss Inda PFEIFER is spending a few days in Detroit, Mich., visiting relatives. Mrs. N.E. BRENNEMAN spent Wednesday at Venedocia with her aunt, Mrs. EVANS. Harry PFEIFER has been given the position of reading meters for the coming year. B.F. WEAVER and wife, of Beaverdam, spent Sunday afternoon with their son, L.G. WEAVER and family. Mr. and Mrs. Charles HERR and daughter Ruth of near Beaverdam, spent Sunday with Cyrus CLUTTER and family. Lester CULP and family of Lima, spent Sunday with their parents John CLUP and family. The Daisy Embroidery club met with Mrs. Dr. SMITH, Wednesday. After a social time, the hostess served luncheon. Miss Blanche THOMPSON, of Detroit, Mich., is visiting her uncle and aunt, W.A. DAVIS and family. An old-time spelling bee will be held at the Auglaize school Thursday evening, March 4. Quincy DRAY is teacher of the school. Miss Mabel LOWMAN spent Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Corda PARKER, of near South Warsaw. The stork arrived at the home of William COON and wife, Saturday afternoon with a new son, who has been named Lyle. H.A. COOK and family entertained Sunday afternoon, C.C. STOUT, wife and daughter, Pauline, and son, Emerson, of Perry Chapel; Gladys and Manley JACOBS, of Westminster, and Ray McDORMAN, of West Newton. Misses Opal and Madge SCHOLFIELD spent from Friday night till Sunday with their uncle Eli FERGUSON and family, of South Warsaw. J.L. SCHOLFIELD and family entertained Sunday Eli FERGUSON and wife, of South Warsaw, and Saul COOK, wife and son Darwin. Grandpa STUBBS is seriously ill at this writing.
