Lawrence, Phillip, Frank and a sister, Angeline was married to Joe Nesta; the two of them owned a small grocery on Vine St. in Lima, OH. As a small child I remember Joe cooking lots of spaghetti and Angeline working her fingers to the bone to keep everything clean. I have pictures of Nick, Frank, Phillip and my papa, taken in Delphos. These pictures were given to me by Angilo Fedele. My grandfather was John but I never knew any of them as they had past away before I was born in 1945. I do know his wife past away in 1917. Mom and dad were divorced by my 4th birthday. I stayed with dad during the summers, before he past away in 1953. Dad was 47 when I was born. My mother, Kathleen Newland Carrino, was 19. She was born at Indian Lake and past away in 1993. My husband, Dale Spencer, and I lived in Lima from 1968 to 2000 in Bath township. I had bought the Indian Lake homeplace in 1991 and after my husband retired from Roundy! 's we moved here to be closer to the fishing. Phillip and Alvena lived in Covington, Ky where Phillip was head mechanic for the Chevy garage. They too had a daughter named Diane. Lawrence past away many years ago in St. Louis, near his children. I didn't get to know Frank or Nick. I met Phillip and Alvena. As a child we lived a short time by them in Covington. I wrote Lawrence before his death but never got to meet him. I know my grandfather came from Italy and my grandmother was a French Canadian. I would like to learn more about my fathers family. Please feel free to e-mail me at any time.
