Lima Daily News, Jan 1, 1915 Postmaster George LEWIS is receiving congratulations on his marriage to Mrs. Sadie NOBLE, which occurred in Lima, Dec. 6, but has only recently been announced. Mr. and Mrs. LEWIS are now at home to their friends on Spring street. Mr. and Mrs. Ed CONRAD of New Richmond, Ind., are spending the week with Mrs. A.L. CONRAD. Mrs. Clem STRAHM and son Noel are visiting Mrs. Frank O'NEIL, in Detroit. Mr. and Mrs. Frank McELROY, of Lafayette, Ind., are guests of Lee McELROY and family. Mr. and Mrs. Elden GEIGER, of Middletown are visiting relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Fred ZEHRBACK, are in Cleveland, buying spring goods for the Daylight store. Mr. and Mrs. H.R. LUGIBULIL are now occupying their new home on College Drive. Mr. and Mrs. Peter DILLER were Sunday guests of H.O. FREDERICK and family at Marion. Dr. I.R. WETHERILL was taken to a santarium at Marion for treatment. Mr. and Mrs. T.G. Scheid are spending the holidays in Ithaca, New York. Elida News- Mr. and Mrs. E.O. SAWMILLER of Lima spent Xmas here, with relatives and friends. The entertainments at the M.E. and U.B. churches Xmas eve were well attended and good programs given. Mr. and Mrs. David BRENNEMAN and Mrs. Nancy MORRIS spent XMAS in Lima with Mr. and Mrs. Bert MORRIS and children. Joseph CLEMENS and family spent a few days the past week with their parents Mr. and Mrs. IRELAND of Portland, Ind. Miss Jessie ASKINS and Ray CORDELL were quietly married at the home of the brides grandmother, Mrs. Rachel HILYARD on Christmas eve by the Rev. F.L. HOOK using the ring ceremony the bride was beautifully gowned in white messaline. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas WHITTINGTON and sons John and Marion and daughter Mamie and David of Springfield spent Christmas with their parents, Mr.and Mrs. Thomas WHITTINGTON. Mrs. Ernest JOHN of Lima and Mrs. Elizabeth HUFFER and children of Elida spent Christmas at Delphos with Newton ROSELLE of Delphos. Mr. and Mrs. O.E. HESSER of Gilboa spent Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. W.A. DAVIS. Noah SHERICK second son of Donald SHERICK was taken to Marion, Ohio Monday and placed in the santarium for treatment. The boy has been confined to his home for the past month.
