KRAMER and Miss Coletta ROTHMAN of Lima, visited friends here last week. Mr. and Mrs. H. LEE, Mr. Jas. POTHAST and Miss Marta SIRE, of Ft. Jennings were guests of Mr. and Mrs. O.J. BOEHMER. Mr. and Mrs. BLACKBURN of Lima, were here Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar HOOVER of Lima, came over in their car Saturday to visit Mrs. Alex OGLE, who returned with them. Prof. C.G. OLNEY, of Toledo, visited his mother, Mrs. A.V. WATTS, over Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Jerome ELLIOTT and family, of Columbus Grove, were guests at the A.V. WATTS home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. J.H. VOCHE, Napoleon, Mr. and Mrs. J. VANDANBROOK, Defiance, and Mr. and Mrs. Geo. HAHN, Toledo, spent Sunday with the F.G. KAHLE and L.E. EASTMAN families. Miss EASTMAN, teacher in Wauseon, is home for the summer vacation. Miss May PFEIFFER, of Lima, was the guest of Miss Theo HALL, Sunday. Walter HOSACK, of Toledo, former Ottawa man, was here Saturday. Miss Isabelle MITCHELL, who has been employed as Stenographer for the Ottawa Sugar Co., has gone to Detroit to accept a similar position. Miss MITCHELL made many friends during her residence here. Miss LOY, teacher in the Columbus Grove schools, was here to bid old friends "goodbye" Saturday before starting for Daytona, Fla., to visit with her father, who is employed there. The score in the ball game between Ottawa and the Toledo post-office team, at the local grounds Sunday, was 3 to 5 in favor of Toledo. Mr. and Mrs. Harry HAWKINS, Mr. H.H. HOUSER and daughter, of New Bremen, visited Samuel HOUSER at the Hotel DuMont Sunday. Mr. Clem WOLFORD, who has served as freight agent at the C.H. & D. for some time, has gone to Monticello and R. F. JENKINS of Ottawa has been employed in his place. Miss Pearl HANSEL of Dayton spent Saturday and Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis HANSEL. The Misses BERNING of Cleveland visited their mother Mrs. Elizabeth BERNING, Saturday and Sunday. Earl CRAWFIS of Cincinnati spent Saturday and Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.L. CRAWFIS. Little Richard SHERWOOD, of Toledo, visited his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. N.E. MATHEWS over Sunday. The grand jury returned six indictments, four of which have been made public, as follows: Chas. REIFANEIDER, shooting with intent to kill; Keck REIGLE, assult with intent to kill; Richard CASTLE, cuttingwith intent to kill; J.W. OSEGE, for forgery.
