Lima Daily News, May 27, 1889 Coroner CONVERY this morning rendered his verdict that E.D. BOWERS, found dead in the woods on his place near Lafayette, died of heart trouble, as the primary cause, though there was also disease of the liver and kidneys. An autopsy was made. The Coroner began an inquiry today into the circumstances attending the death of H.K. GORDON, who took morphine on Friday afternoon.
