    3. Lima News, Feb 13, 1920 Mrs., Abbie LEEDY 33, wife of S.J. LEEDY, died Thursday evening at the city hospital, after an illness of 10 days, due to hemorrhage. She was born in Bath township, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George SNIDER. The husband and three children survive. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 o'clock at Pleasant View church, near her home in Bath township. Interment will be at Pleasant View cemetery. George Alfred STROHL, 11 months, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel STROHL, Monroe township, died Thursday afternoon. The parents, three brothers and a sister survive. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 o'clock. Interment will be at the Ridge cemetery near Van Wert. Mrs. BOWERSOCK, wife of John W. BOWERSOCK, of the firm of Long and Bowersock undertakers, who has been at St Rita's hospital, from pneumonia, has recovered sufficiently to be removed to her home, 674 1/2 S. Main-st. While hunting crows Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock, Jay TATE, 35, farmer, living near Columbus Grove, slipped on the ice, his shot gun was discharged and the charge of shot entered his heart. He died at 7 o'clock Thursday night. TATE's wife had taken their child Harry, 3, to Columbus Grove with her to bring home Donald 10, from school. TATE was alone at the time of the accident. He lay on the sidewalk until the return of his wife and children. He was able to tell his wife the details of the accident. Unable to get him into the house she summoned aid and then lapsed into unconsciousness. Mrs. TATE is in serious condition. The dead man a nephew of Mrs. Julia RUPPERT, 836 Bellefontaine-av, was the first of a large family of children of Mrs. and Mrs. Elias TATE, to die. He moved to the Martha HALMES farm from Columbus Grove a year ago. Funeral services have not been completed. C.C. WILLIAMS, member of the firm of Williams and Davis undertakers, who has been ill from influenza, is able to be at his place of business. William PANGLE, 64, Aston-av., died Friday morning after a three weeks' illness from complications. He was born in Lima. Mrs. C.B. MILLER, 336 W McKibben-st., Mrs. D.R. JENKINS, 725 N West-st., and Mrs. Anna JENNINGS, 671 N West-st., are surviving sisters. Private funeral services will be held at the Williams and Davis mortuary Monday at 9:30 o'clock. interment will be at Woodlawn. Failure to provide her a home and the necessaries of life are charged in the divorce suit of Mazie M. POLING against Guy I. POLING, Cuyahoga-co. She says she was compelled to depend upon her own efforts and friends and relatives for support. They were married in September, 1905 and have a son Robert, 14. George BALDWIN, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. James BALDWIN, 1310 S Main-st., died Thursday afternoon of tuberculosis. The parents, four brothers, and three sisters survive. He was born in Columbus Grove and the body will be accompanied there for interment. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 o'clock at the residence. R.H. CLARKE, 749 W Spring-st., traffic violator, wanted an immediate hearing Friday morning and preferred appearing at Judge HAMILTON's court to awaiting arrival at Criminal Court office of Judge JACKSON. He was granted his desire with the result that it cost him $4.05 for operating his machine without a tail light. Other violators had been fined $1 by Judge JACKSON.
