    3. Lima Times Democrat, July 4, 1906 Mark GUYTON was born in Perry county, Ohio, January 17, 1847, and departed this life, Jun 27, 1906, aged 59 years, 5 months and 10 days. When ten years old, with his parents, he moved to near Ada, Hardin county, Ohio. On December 27, 1868 was married to Leucrecia GRUBBS. To this union was born four daughters and one son. In 1871 he moved to his late residence at which place he lived until death. On March 17, 1892, the companion of his youth was called to her eternal home. On March 23, 1895, was united in marriage to Miss Sarah AUSTIN, who survives him. He enlisted in the U.S. army during the Civil war, January, 1864, and remained in said until the war closed. He united with the Lafayette Christian church during the pastorate of Rev. C.J. HANCE, February 25, 1891, in whose fellowship he continued a faithful and consistent member until death.He was loved and respected by all who knew him. He endured his affliction with much patience and Christian fortiude, leaving a satisfactory assurance that all was well with his soul. He leaves a wife, four daughters and one son, one step-daughter, five brothers and one sister; 16 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren and many friends to mourn his early departure.
