Charlie HARTER, commonly called "Shorty" is visiting his parents Mr. and Mrs. A.C. HARTER. Charlie is on the Cloverleaf R.R., at Charleston, Ill., as agent there. Tommie DAVIS, the tailor, has returned and is putting out the new suits at Richardson's. Dr. H.C. HART of Monticello, O., was in town Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. A.C. HARTER were at Lima Tuesday. The following marriage license were issued: Charles M. WALDO and Cora PORTER; Charles SHULL and Jennie WESTOVER; Ferdinand GUENTHER and Lydia GOEBER. Elizabeth POCKMIRE, guardian of Harry B. POCKMIRE, filed an inventory of said ward's estate. Rev. HARMOUNT is away on vacation, consequently there was no services at the M.E. church last Sunday night. James KEETH, son of Sam'l KEETH, reported as having run away from home some time ago, has not been heard from. Rev. HALL has moved to Middlepoint, O., where he will assume his duties as pastor of the M.E. church. J.R. STOSE, of Ind., is visiting friends here for a few days. L.M. PRICE visited his parents at Van Wert last week. Dr. STEINER, of Lima, was here yesterday attending the funeral of his aunt Mrs. David CARR, who died Saturday of typhoid fever. Her sister, Mr. Steiner's mother died just 5 weeks ago to-day. There were three sisters all married inside one year, and now two of them have died close together. Only one is left Mrs. Wm. ALMAN, who lives near here. Herb MARTIN and wife of Lima, visited friends here over Sunday. Miss Hattie HARMAN of Yellow Springs, O., is visiting at Frank SCOTT's. She was a delegate to the Woman's State Temperance meeting at Findlay last week. David FRANKS was the guest of Ed ROMEY yesterday. Clair TOLAN and wife of Delphos, and D.H. TOLAN of Delphos, spent Sunday with Fletch CABILL. Lew CUNNINGHAM was in Fostoria Sunday, with his family. Mrs. Joseph H. JARVIS and two children of Cleveland, are visiting her brother Wm. MARTIN and wife of 223 west Haller street. Elmer MOWEN was last week married at Trenton, Ohio to Ella SHAFER, sister of Wm. SHAFER, of north Union street. The young couple are house keeping on west North street. Miss Anna BREENE of Ada, spent Sunday with friends in this city. Miss Ella GALLAGHER of north Jackson street, is visiting friends in Hamilton. Mrs. C.S. BRICE and daughter Helen, are here visiting Mrs. BRICE's mother, Mrs. J.H. MEILY. B.L. CLEVENGER, administrator of the estate of the late J.F. Clevenger, has filed his first and final account.
