    3. Lima News, Oct 23, 1918 George M. TAYLOR, 80 years of age, died at his home, 510 west Vine street today after a two weeks' illness with a complication of diseases. The deceased served in the Civil war and has been a resident of Lima for 15 years. He leaves a widow, two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth BERRY of Lima, and Mrs. Nellie CLARK, Van Wert county; two son, John TAYLOR, Lima, and Tom TAYLOR, Spencerville; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. No funeral arrangements have been made. Card of Thanks We wish to extend our many thanks and deepest gratitude to all our friends and neighbors for their many deeds and kindness shown us through the death of our beloved father, also undertaker LONG( and BOWERSOCK for their kindness and efficient service, for the many floral offerings, also the Rev. Mr. FOLTZ for his consoling words. Mr. M.E. Williams and Wife Sarah Frances BAKER, 82 years of age died Tuesday at the home of Mrs. G.W. WIEGEMAN, 521 Linden avenue, of complication of diseases. Those surviving are two sons W.T. BAKER, Lima, and H.P. BAKER, Swabders, Ohio; and three daughters, Mrs. Loma WOODRUFF, Mrs. James GLICK, and Mrs. Rachel WEIGEMAN, all of Sidney. The funeral will be held at her daughter's home in Sidney, Friday at 2 o'clock. The body of J.E. LINUS, sale manager of the Dupont Powder company, was accompanied here from Cincinnati this morning to his home at 634 north Metcalf street. Death resulted from Spanish influenza. The body will be accompanied from Lima to Pittsburg, Pa., for burial. David TIMMONS was born January 31, 1839 and departed this life at the home of his daughter in Harrod, Ohio, Oct. 19, 1918, aged 72 years, 8 months, 18 days. Heart trouble being the cause of his death, which came very sudden to his family and friends. His wife preceded him in death 14 years ago. He was a member of the Pleasant Valley U.B. church for 35 years. He leaves one daughter Mrs. M.E. WILLIAMS of Harrod, and a host of friends to mourn his departure. He was a kind and loving father, and a good neighbor. Dearest Father, thou has left us And thy loss we deeply feel, It is God that hast bereft us, He can all our sorrows heal. Remember me as you pass by, As you are now, so once was I; As I am now, so you must be, Preface for Death and follow me. Mrs. Lesile DEITZ, 36 years of age, 1091 south Metcalf street, died at the City hospital yesterday, after an illness of three weeks. Those surviving are her husband and three sons, Arthur, Howard, and Leonard DEITZ. The funeral arrangements have not been completed.
