Rene, My great grandfather and his brother played for the Celina Independents in 1900. I found tons of copy in the newspaper, mostly about their games, and one day found a picture of the team! Considering I had never seen a picture of Robert Hardin (he died in 1904) before this was a treasure to me! I rented, through interlibrary loan, copies of the filmed newspaper from the Ohio Historical Society and viewed at my local library.
