Robert George Neese was born on Feb 12, 1884 to parents James and Ella (McBeth?) Neese. Newspaper article in Harrison, Cumberland Co. Maine, states he was born in Lima OH, (Allen County?) Any help would be appreciated....kay

He is not listed in the Allen County births index but that doesn't mean that he couldn't have been born here, only that the parents didn't go to the courthouse and have his recorded. Did they live here or were they just visiting? Do the censuses show his place of birth as Ohio and what is given as his birth place on his death certificate? Those should help you pinpoint it.
