Wapakoneta, July 19--Funeral services were held at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning for Clarence John Meyer, 51, a lifelong resident of this community. He died at St. Rita's hospital, Lima, after having been in failing health for more than 20 years. Final rites were held at the St. Joseph church here with Rev. Julian Mayer officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph cemetery. His wife, Luella, two sons Clarence Jr., and Charles WIlliam, both members of the armed forces and stationed in active battle areas, and one daughter, Mrs. Dale Metzer, of this city, are survivors. His mother Mrs. William Meyer, here; a sister, Mrs Ernest Rogers, St. Johns, and three grandchildren, also survive.
