    3. Hello List, I was wondering if anyone has ever seen any photographs of damage caused by the Palm Sunday tornado that struck March 28th, 1920. My gr grandfather, Moses Archer was killed while sleeping in his bed. He was living around 4 miles south of Lima on St.Johns Rd.( SR65). I have seen photos on the internet of damage in Moulton caused by this same storm, but have never seen any of the damage in Lima Thank-You Trace Archer tcarcher@bright.net

    3. There were lots of pictures in all the newspapers at the time. I lived in Ottawa, and vividly remember it! Lima News, the Putnam Co Sentinel and I suspect others in the area all had pictures. I remember an orchid corsage from Rushville Indiana was found in a driveway east of Ottawa in perfect condition. I also remember two little boys killed near Cairo when their car was caught in the tornado! 3. Trace, You can rent and view in your local library, through interlibrary loan, films of newspapers from the Ohio Historical Society. It really is quite simple and fast. I just found a photograph of my great grandfather's 1901 baseball team form the Celina paper.
