I suspect this death certificate was for an Alcinda Jane,aka Jennie nee Glaze. I have an Alcinda Jane (aka Jennie ) nee Glaze WAMER who died 4/17/1918 per her marker in Paulding Co.,Oh. A death certificate cannot be located in Paulding Co.,which leads me to suspect,Jennie may have died while visiting her GLAZE relatives in Lima? Buried with her is her one year old daughter ,Alice Marie WAMER,born Feb.4,1917,died 4/16/1918. Alice Marie WAMER was born in Grover Hill,Paulding Co.,Oh. Per their marker,Alice Marie died a day before her mother. Unable to locate her death certificate in Paulding Co.,either. Could mother & daughter have both fell ill in Lima? As Ohio was in the middle of a big influenza outbreak in 1918,influenza is the likely ca! use of death? I am unable to find an obituary or death certificates for these two in Paulding. I know Jennie nee GLAZE WAMER was alive in 1917,as she signed as informant on her mother's (Eleanor L.nee Donaldson GLAZE) 1917 Paulding Co.,Oh.death certificate. Jennie's father,Geo.A.GLAZE b.1826 Wood Co.,Va.died 1920 Paulding Co.,Oh. This George A.GLAZE was a brother to John F.GLAZE who died 1911 Allen Co.,Oh. The surname WAMER is often indexed under WARNER.
