    1. Delia B. NOONAN
    2. Hello, I was helping a friend here in Lima go through some papers and I found a card, I am not sure if it is what you would call a prayer card or what. It has a picture on the front of an angel looking at a sleeping child. On the back it says in handwriting Great Aunt. Then it says, In Loving Memory of Delia B. Noonan January 27, 1885 March 17, 1963 Then there is a prayer. My friend doesn't know who this person was but she figures that it must be a relative of hers. Does anyone know who Delia was? She might have been related to the Bowman's or Pentenburg's. 2. Karen: I checked the newspaper records for Lima and the only mention I found of the MOORMAN name was a Sheriff's sale of land in a case of B. F. Moorman vs Price. It was in the 23 Dec 1853 issue. I checked through 1864. Jeanne

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/ZYB.2ACI/696.1.1 Message Board Post: Hello, thanks for your reply! This is a collateral line for me -- Emmett Akerman's wife was Telitha Rosetta Holman. Her parents (Uretha Alice Jane Hill and Philip Holman) were my gr-gr-grandparents. Emmett (b. 9 Jan 1869) is the son of James Akerman (b. 3 March 1847) who is the son of William Akerman (1810 - 1878). I've seen several mentions of a "family history" -- I'm interested to find out if someone still has a copy of the document, if it was ever published and available at a local history center, or if someone has a copy that can tell me if it has the names of William (sr)'s parents, and possibly where the family originated (before Cumberland Co., Pennsylvania).

    3. I just happened to be working on that death index from Ancestry.com. I had accessed it through Vital search as a guest. However, I have come up empty handed. Searched for all Hoovers in Clatsop Co. (after a search for edward Hoover came up empty.) No Edward, no 1904. Are you positive on your death place? Maybe the hospital deaths did not make the list. Leah in Texas Maybe someone else has another idea. Never give up. : ) [email protected] wrote: >Is there anyone on this list who lives in Clatsop County OR that could tell >me how to obtain a death record for Edward Hoover who died at St. Mary's >Hospital in Clatsop Co., OR in 1904? > >Thanks >Vivian in Florida > > >==== OHALLEN Mailing List ==== >Allen County, Ohio - OHGenWeb Project >http://www.rootsweb.com/~ohallen/allmain.html > >============================== >Gain access to over two billion names including the new Immigration >Collection with an Ancestry.com free trial.
