    3. Columbus Grove, June 22 A small scratch on a hand, regarded lightly by Edward FULLER, 50, was the means of causing his death. FULLER died of blood poisoning, caused by infectiion, early Saturday. Funeral services were held Monday. He was an employee of the Jones handle factory and had resided his entire life in Columbus Grove. FULLER was down town Wednesday, when he spoke about the trouble in the hand, he replied that it did not hurt and he attached little importance to it. FULLER is survivied by the widow and one son, Rodney, grown to manhood.

When they came to an alley, the flapper made a dash down the alley, but the poor policewoman could not follow. Why? Because not being a flapper, her skirt was too long and too tight, and the girl whom she was escorting down the street made a neat getaway.

The Williams and Davis invalid coach made the following transfers yesterday: Mrs. Tillie SHUMAKER was removed from the city hospital to her home at 1122 Hughes avenue. Mrs. F.K. FAZE was taken from 339 south Jackson street to the city hospital. Mrs. JUSTUS was taken from her home at 139 south Jackson street, to the district tuberculosis hospital.

    3. Lima Daily News Apr 8, 1920 Kenton- Married, Miss Mary M. VERMILLION and Arthur B. HUMMELL, both of Kenton; Miss Geraldine BATCHLET and William W. McLANE, both of Kenton; Miss Luella K. STEWART, Wapakoneta; and Robert NICHOLS, Kenton Ada- Ralph OBERLIN, junior in Ada high school, was severely burned about the face and hands when he threw gasoline on a smothering fire. Ada- A few hours after her aged husband had died Mrs. W.H. WAULKNER passed away at the family home in Harrod. They had been married 57 years. A funeral was held Thursday.

    3. Lima Daily Times Sep 3, 1889 The funeral of the late Paul FLAGER was conducted to-day by the TURNERS, who attended to the number of about 25. The services at the house at 6 a.m. were conducted by Rev. A.J. FISH, who with the TURNERS, went with the body to Findlay, where it was buried. The pall bears were John HOFFMAN, Jacob KISSEL, Henry ZIMMERMAN, Adam ZIMMERMAN, Joseph WOERNER and Henry HIRSHBERG. The remains of Mrs. Dan SHAPPEL were buried this morning at the Shawnee cemetery. The church was filled, showing the respect in which the family is held in the neighborhood. Rev. F.M. SHULTZ conducted the services. The remains of Mrs. Lydia A. WARNER were brought here from Ada, this morning and taken, accompanied by a concourse of mourning relations and friends to St. Matthew's cemetery in the southern part of Shawnee township and there interred. Rev. C.H. ECKHARDT conducted the services. The funeral of Mary JONES at Gomer this afternoon was largely attended, she was the widow of Josiah JONES who died about two years ago, and mother of Thomas H. JONES, of this city. The family came to this country in 1850 from Wales. She was a devoted Christian and was more than eighty years old, as was her husband when he died. The remains of Mrs. Henry MAHER were buried at Elida, this morning. She died of lung fever, aged about 30 years and leaves two children. She was an estimable woman.

    3. Lima Times Democrat Mar 1, 1894 Died on Monday evening, after a long and painful affliction, James HAWK, aged about sixty-four years. The deceased was for many year a citizen of Lafayette. His affliction was cancer of the face, which he bore with Christian fortitude and resignation to the Divine will. He leaves a wife, one son and many relatives and friends to mourn his loss. Funeral services were held at the M.E. church on Wednesday, after which the interment. Died on Tuesday morning, Mrs. Diana SHRIDER, aged about seventy-five years. Mrs. SHRIDER had been in failing health for the past six years, and during that time had a light stroke of paralysis in her left side, the effects of which she felt until the day of her death. Funeral services were held at the Christian church on Wednesday, after which the interment at Lafayette cemetery. The friends of John SPEAR will be sorry to learn of his sudden death, which took place near Geneva, Ind., last Saturday night, February 24. Mr. SPEAR was well and favorably known at Lafayette for his Christian character, honor and integrity. It will be remembered that he engineered the drilling of an oil well near Lafayette several years ago, on the Thayer farm, where he formed a friendship with a great many people which will not be soon forgotten. Mr. and Mrs. C. FISHER, who last fall went to the northwestern part of Iowa to spend the winter with relatives, have returned, and are now visiting relatives here, will in a few days move to Lima to make that place their future home. Frank HAWK and sons James and Clint of Lima, were here last Monday attending the funeral services of their relative James HAWK.
