Strange, but I cannot find anything online in the Allen Co website about where to look or write for divorces in Allen Co. Other counties in that corner of Ohio also seem to lack that info. Where can I look, or who can I write to, for a divorce circa 1870-74 ?? Would appreciate any info at all. Perhaps it was easier to get a divorce in nearby Indiana counties? I think that's the way it had been here in Maryland at one time; it certainly was for marriages in northeast Maryland. LeRoy Wheeler, Maryland
