Peebles was established around 1885. But this Photography studio was in the area that became Peebles. The owner was David Ira Gardner the son of John Harvey Gardner & Eliza Ann Morrison. The Gardner's lived close to the Gorman's. Carey Thomas Gardner married Mary Gorman (my line). Carey is David's uncle.
