Does anyone have any information on a Rev. Dyer Burgess in West Union and his wife around the time frame of 1817? Trying to find out how a Sara Jane McFarland who married John P. Hood on Dec.5,1837 was related to Mrs. Burgess. Sara Jane McFarland was the daughter of Duncan McFarland and Nancy Jane Forsythe who were married Oct 17, 1817 in Tiffin Township. Sara Jane's and John P. Hoods children were: (1)Martha (2)Angeline married Andrew Kohler (3)Nancy Jane married William H. Wright (4)Ellen married George N. Crawford (5)Anna E. married Dr. J.W. Wright (6)Sara D. married John M. Wilson (7)John Andrew (8)William (9)Albert C. (10)Oscar F. (11)Unknown I am still trying to find information on ANDREW B. McFARLAND born Dec.1,1823. And who was in the 1847 male emancipation list with a JOHN on the same line as him. I think that this John and my Andrew may be brothers to the Sara Jane who married John P.
