It's gratifying to read that some cemeteries are in good condition. I was at Jacksonville Cemetery in Meigs Twp. last summer and its condition is appalling. The deterioration that has taken place over the past 10 or so years is amazing. Many, many broken stones are just stacked up in piles here and there. I'm glad that the ACGS copied this cemetery years ago - otherwise much valuable information would be lost. Is any group in charge of this cemetery?
