Janet: The Adams County Genealogical Society library is in West Union, Ohio. It is a gold mine of information. I would also call your attention to the public library in Portsmouth, Ohio in Scioto County. They also have a wealth of Adams County information. The Portsmouth genealogical section is in charge of a lady named Betsy who is very knowledgeable about both counties. The people in both libraries will be very helpful.
