Hi! An Adams Co., wedding record book says my great-great-great grandparents, HARTIN BROWN was married to POLLY COLVIN by Joseph Westerbrook in Adams Co. March 23, 1815. Who has the original marriage records for this time...Adams Co. probate court? Or are they somewhere else? I want to see if either of the parents of these two might be listed on the original records. I am trying to find the names of the parents. (Incidently, HARTIN's actual name was HARLIN and POLLY's was actually MARY ANN COLVIN. Polly was a nickname. It apparently was misspelled somewhere in the records.) Any data on BROWN and COLVIN families in Adams County around 1815 will also be appreciated. Thanks! Gunde3455@aol.com
