There was a fort of salt makers there,say,1790. Tanner's Station was the name I know. The battlefield,now Robertson Co,was once the south boundry of Mason Co-nORTH BOUNDRY OF Bourbon Co,Ky There was a 2nd Upper Blue Licks,say 15 miles up,or east,on the Licking River. Today in Nicholas Co. And a road named BATTLE ROAD there. 1791 battle? I've never known if the Wickersham's who had a 1790 pioneer era mill where this highway,oHIO RT 125 crosses the Little Miami River in east Cincinnati,and the 1796 era Wickersham's who settled on Zane's Trace-RT 41,OR NEARBY,were 1 family.
