    1. [OHADAMS] BROWN of Rome;Thornton of Huntington,WV 1890
    2. HERMON B FAGLEY
    3. Reson Brown's tombstone is in the Rome-Procterville,Oh area. Some- time his son,OSCAR THOMPSON BROWN became skilled in apple growing, and,Yes,I know the ROME BEAUTY apple was found at Rome. [For what was Chesapeake,Ohio named-a colony? the RR?] Anyway, Oscar Thompson Brown would row the Ohio River in about 1890's to work at Huntington,WV. I think he helped boxcars. Anyway,he had a daily quota of driving 1 keg of nails a day. I see from WWW.ANCESTRY'S census that Irish Catholic potato famine immigrant,Michael Thornton, was in Huntington in the 1890 census. I suppose his dau m OSCAR THOMPSON BROWN on the Huntington WV side. Any thought's on 1890's marriage records on either side of the river. Maybe Catholic, thought I don't think OT Brown was Catholic. SE ADAMS CO,Oh RESEARCHERS. -Michael Thornton,ABOVE IS BURIED ON SUNSHINE RIDGE,Adams Co. Were there other Irish from Huntington WV in se Atlas. I have the reprint 1880 atlas of Adams Co,Oh. Will somebody pinpoint Sunshine Ridge for me? Anybody know my friends,Dan and Jeanie Henderson,of Bidwell? ___________________________________________________________________ Why pay more to get Web access?
