Dee asked if I had information on the parents of Elizabeth Wisecup. I'd mentioned Elizabeth in my post with the subject "William Thomas and Descendants". William Thomas' son Samuel married Elizabeth WISECUP. Dee, I have speculated that Elizabeth may be the daughter of Abraham Wisecup, but I have no proof. Elizabeth was supposedly born in Pennsylvania. Her tombstone indicates she was born 16 Feb 1800 and died 21 Apr 1878. She is buried at Jacksonville Cemetery, Meigs Twp., Adams County. Elizabeth married (1) Samuel THOMAS, 4 Mar 1823, Adams County, Ohio. She married (2) Samuel THOROMAN, about 1850. Although I'm not descended from Elizabeth, I am both a Thomas and a Thoroman descendant, so I am happy to exchange information on both surnames.
