You can obtain death certificates from the Adams County Health dept. for $1.00 each (death cert. start at 1909) you can email them at hlthdept@bright.net or write them Adams County Ohio Health Dept. 116 W. Mulberry West Union 45693-1568 or phone them at 937 - 544- 5547 You can also obtain death certificates through the Vital Statistics office in Columbus http://www.odh.state.oh.us/directory/directory-f.htm Ask for "uncertified" they are $1.10 each .... although I have heard you can get these for .25 cents You can also obtain death certificates from the Ohio Historical Society.. to search there database of certificates go to http://dbs.ohiohistory.org/dindex/search.cfm One word of advice.... if you do not find the death certificate your seeking in one location - try one of the other sources.... several times I have found what I was looking for at the O.H.S. when the other two places did not have the document....
