Guess what everyone. Know how I've been looking for my grandfathers (Herschel DeMint) parents. they have been found. Yes, on the 1900 census in Jefferson twp. the Adams County gen. soc. sent me a letter on sat. OK you ready here it is. the fathers name is William born 1861, remember all I knew that his Mom was called Lu. Well, her this her real name louella born 1868 her maiden name is still in the ups as to if it is mcgowen/mcgowan, but we'll work on it. smile. And the siblings are homer B: 1883, Sheridan n. B: 1892 and Ethel b: 1898, there is still a Joseph William unaccounted for but he may have been born later. I'm so excited. I cried. smile. I'd like to thank everyone who has helped me get this far if it wasn't for all of you, here i go crying again. well you know what i mean with out getting all mushier deep inside my heart i thank you. but no one warned me. i thought after i found who his parents are I'd stop looking cause i found what i wanted. no one told me that this is addicting, now I want to see if this line goes to the benoni DeMint line. why why didn't anyone warn me. haha, smile. thanks again to every one.
