no i don't know who Herschel's father is yet i am still waiting on his service record. but my aunt thinks the name was William. but i did find Herschel wife's (tillie) parents. they where bertha young and Louis kirchhoefer. And tillie was born in Brooklyn N.Y. I got it from her social security application. I just wish Herschel had a social security number things would have been so much easier. But he died in 1953 and my aunt said he didn't have one. do you happen to know when social security numbers started? lol Paula talk to you soon.
