After reading your "post" about the Demint's in Adams Co. ---I checked my notebook for your names. William son of Andrew and Hannah is a good "possibility" for your William born in 1861. Our ancestor was William Smith Dement/Demint and his wife Malinda (Thornburg) who also lived in Jefferson Twp. but removed to Scioto Co., Ohio. Hope this helps.
