    3. The LDS Family History Centers have index books for almost ALL of the states for the 1850 census. OHIO included. If you can identify your person, it gives the county, and TOWNSHIP and page number that they are enumerated on. Then you could order that township. It works unless you have a common name shared with hundreds of other families in OHIO-----like Smith or Jones. I'm looking for the parents of Angeline SMITH around 1830 in Adams or Scioto Cos. She was born about 1811-15 in VA acctording to census. Just an idea.
