OK......I've found my Philemon Davis in Monroe Twp., Adams County in the 1820 Census. He had a wife (20-35 yrs) a boy and two girls all under 10. Haven't found him in 1830 yet.......but LOOK.... He moved his family to ROSS CO. OHIO by the 1840 census. Added another daughter by then. Does Philemon look familiar to anyone in Adams County?? Sure hope he isn't one of those guys who just magically drops down out of the MISTS! I hate that! Don't go away.....I have more questions....later!! Phyllis in Atlanta
