He is listed in the 1850 census as being 37. Also, do you have a positive on Henry and Frank? The reason I ask is that both were born after the last census information I have and, Nancy Grooms would have been 55 at Henry's birth and a whopping 61 at Frank's birth. 1862 is surprisingly close to my great grandfather's birth year and if the information you have is from a later census the "Frank" may have been my grandfather who often did go to stay with Samuel Cooper and Nancy grooms during his childhood. (Although I just recently found out who his grandparents were). That would be my hunch, and Henry may be a descendant of George W. Crosswhaite, Jr....? As Francis Marion (aka "Frank") didn't have a son "Henry", but traveled with George to Adams County, went to school there (George Jr, went to school there). Charlotte
