Hello, It sounds as if you are just starting on your family tree research. Have you done any record checking on this line already such as census records, or death certificate (possibly one in 1913, not required until 1914)? Census records are a great place to start your research, after talking to any living kin you can find. Work your way back starting at 1910 for John Richard Robibns. Bringing his descendants forward, you can check 1920, 1930 censuses. (There are only partial records existing for 1890, due to fire). View several pages in front of your Robbins entry and several pages after, looking for related folks living near by. Are you familiar with the website ancestry.com? Free and paid records. Also, familysearch.com by the Mormon church has free record information plus "trees" online, also good to check for birth, marriage records. Some of the hits are transcriptions of actual records, others are supplied by individuals and aren't verified for accuracy. Both sites are good starting places to check for family trees that other researchers have posted. You can verify information posted through your own research, at least it gives you clues on where to search and might put you in contact with "cousins". also usgenweb.com has web pages set up for all 50 states, organized by counties, records transcribed by volunteers. Adams Co Ohio is a good helpful site. I went to ancestry.com and typed John Richard in first name slot, Robbins in the last name. There appear to be some online trees (free access) for him and his children. Remember, it's a good idea to verify the informaton posted through your own research. You can email the individual also. Maybe you are cousins, although some times the tree is for a collateral line. I hope these sites help you with your search.
