David Bradford who opened the famous Bradford Tavern in 1807. It lists that he was born in PA in 1765, was married to Barbara Grimes, and died in 1834 at age 69. It also says he was the David Bradford who was involved in the Whiskey Insurrection. However, history books about this incident say the famous David Bradford who was associated with the Whiskey Rebellion escaped to Louisiana and died in 1808 in New Orleans at age (approx) 48. Does anyone have any information on this discrepency? Thanks - d.
