Still do not know parents of William and Ruth. Shirley Ramsey has some speculation. William was a farmer and then a carpenter according to census records. He served in the 182 Regiment of Ohio in the Civil War. Helped build forts etc. You are the first descendent of Charlotte of whom I am aware. I have had exchanges with Shirley and one or two others.
