Hi Sharon, Yes, the Modoc County, California Brooks are mine, Great Grandmother Zeetah Emma born there 1894, her father, Cyrus Neosho b. Kansas Territory 1855, his father John b. 1830 in Ohio, his father supposed to be John also, b. 1785 in Connecticut. and yes, there appears to be two John's. If you look for the 1880, Cyrus appears as Seras M. and his sister, Arminta appears as Armeta.
