Hi, I am doing research on the Beam family in Adams County. My great-great-grandfather was William Beam. He was born in either Adams or Brown County about 1810. His father's name was John Beam. I have found his name listed in the Adams County census as well as the Brown County census. John had a brother named Joseph and both names are listed in the 1850 census in Sprigg township.
