Janet, The Adams Co. Genealogical Society has both on Microfilm and some that has been abstracted into books. We're located at the Heritage Center in West Union. We have census records for Adams Co. from 1790 - 1920 and we have newspapers from the early 1900's and in the Adams County Recorder they quote the "Scion of Temperance", 50 years earlier in the 1800's.
