Moore, Joseph, "sacred to the memory of", late peacher of the Gospel who departed this life 9 Nov. 1824 70yrs 5 months Rebecca, " sacred to the memory of" consort of Rev. Moore, who departed this life 21 Aug. 1833 in the 79th year of herage. .They were buried in Moore Burial Lot ( Watson Farm South of U.S. 52)and later removed to Manchester Cemetery. It has been reasonably established that Joseph Moore was the Methodist minister in the Morthwest Territory, having started a Methodist Society near Blue Creek, 1797.
