JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON EDNA LUCILLE DAWSON FROM XENIA (OH) DAILY GAZETTE 1/9/07 Edna Lucille Dawson, 84, of Hillsboro, OH died January 7, 2007, at The Laurels of Hillsboro. She was born December 3, 1922 in Adams County, OH, the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Dugan) Henize. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ray, Harold "Pete" and Robert Henize. Edna was a member of the Sinking Spring United Methodist Church. On August 29, 1947, she was united in marriage to Charles Dawson who survives. She is also survived by two sons, James Dawson of Riverdale, UT and William Dawson of Bainbridge, OH; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marsha and Clyde Slaven of Jamestown, OH, Martha and Russell Shope of Xenia, OH; sister Pearl Herdman of Montgomery, OH; sister-in-law, Kathryn Henize of Seaman, OH; 10 grandchildren, Lisa, Sean, Todd, Shannon, Jeremy, Misty, Kazia, Beth, Arron and Becky; four great granchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. January 11, 2007, at the Sinking Spring United Methodist Church. Greg Seaman will o! fficiate with burial following in the Locust Grove Cemetery. Friends may call January 10, 2007 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
