She is Anna Rebecca CANNON wife of George Henry HAMILTON b. 1851 d. 1929 m. 4 Aug 1870. Her mother was Lydia Jane COCKERILL. George Henry HAMILTON b. 24 April 1842 d. 30 Nov 1894. Both are buried in Locust Grove Cemetery in Locust Grove, Oh. I visited their graves this past August and have pictures. George Henry served in the Civil War. He is the child of Henry HAMILTON and Lavina EARLEY. There are many Cannon's buried in the Locust Grove cemetery. This information comes from a transcript of the HAMILTON family Bible which was in the possession of a Mr. Roy HAMILTON who lives at Locust Grove, Adams Co., Oh. This copy was given me by my grandmother. The last entry is dated 1925. According to Evans&Stivers: History of Adams County, Lydia Cockerill was the daughter of General Daniel Cockerill. Lydia and Levin had five children, Daniel CANNON, of Lovett's Postoffice; Urban CANNON; Mrs. Anna HAMILTON of Locust Grove; Mrs. Flora HUGHES, of Lovett's Postoffice; and Mrs. J.F. WICKERHAM, of Peebles. (see p.915) Hope this helps!
