I don't have a Helen Clark as the daughter of Carey, but I have a Margaret. The second daughter of Carey I have as Dorothy. She shows up in the 1920 census, and in Carey's obit in the People's Defender. I show Dorothy as 8 in the 1920 census, which would make her the same age as your mother.
