I don't know anything about "Stout's Run" but I am descended from a STOUT family who came to Adams Co. My direct ancestor was Leah STOUT, who married Isaac Wamsley, Sr. They came from NJ and were early settlers in Adams Co. I got most of my information about the STOUT family from 2 sources: "The History of the Stout Family" by Nathan Stout, written in 1823 and reprinted and published by Geo. A. Chandler in 1929, and "Stout of Monmouth County" in "Historical and Genealogical Miscellany: Early Settlers of New Jersey and their Descendents", Volume 5, by Dr. Stilwell, 1916. The latter appears to be more accurate and reliable. I would like to know about "Stout's Run" also.
