Peggy, Try going to http://www.Scioto.Org/Adams/ and I believe you will able to find township histories that have been taken from Evans and Stivers History of Adams Co. Look at the Green Twp. history and you might find something about Stout. (I hope this is the right URL. I always think of Betty's US GenWeb site now on Rootsweb as the "real" site and find it a pain in the neck to have 2 genealogy websites to check for Scioto and Adams Co. material. Oops. Must climb off soap box before I get in trouble.) There is a Stout Cemetery located about 1/4 mi. west of Rome (Stout) along the OH River. I do Green Twp. cemetery lookups and would be happy to send you the listings from this cemetery. There are only around 20 or so names. There are no GUNTERs in the Green Twp. cem. bk. The only ADLOFFs in the bk. are buried in Sandy Springs Cem. located on Rt. 52 near Buena Vista. They are Mary Adloff, wife of Adams, 28 Apr 1823-19 Jan 1893 Adam Adloff, 1 Apr 1823- 3 Jun 1907 Theresa K. Adloff, 23 Jun 1897-13 Feb 1926 Estella Mae Adloff, 3 Jan 1833-21 Apr 1833 Adam Adloff, 1860-1938 Amanda, 1857-1915 Write me privately if you would like the Stout Cem. listings.
