Dixie, I do McMillen research in Adams and Brown Co. Oh. I checked my data base, and could not find your James P. What did he name his children? Sometimes the names of children are a good clue. The first James I have is James and Margaret (Drury) McMillen from Pa. They came to Adams Co. early 1800's Lived in Byrd Twp. Brown Co. today. My ancestor was Jonathan Woodside McMillen, their son. There were a lot of James McMillens,I feel that there is a connection to this family.
