In Madison Co. Ohio, there was a Asa Abbot buried in Bigelow Cemetery, which is now a State Nature Preserve. Located on Rosedale rd. just off of 161. Asa Abbot, died August 2, 1832 at the age of 28 yrs. Asa married Esther Wood on June 1, 1820 in Rumford, Oxford Maine. Asa's stone had a willow tree on it.
