Notes by Ann Johnson William Leedom Sr. d:14 March 1850, portion of stone giving age is broken, She states that he was in the War of 1812, and that his wife was Elizabeth Edgington, a daughter of George Edgington and that George was a Rev. War veteran. William Leedom's stone is now in the Bentoville Union Churchyard Cem, probably placed there by interested persons to prevent it's being lost. One other grave was found there.
