McGowan's had a large farm in N Tate township,my Clermont Co,Ohio 4-5-600 acres later owned by Reisinger family,who had no heirs,and gave their estate to the Bethel United Methodist church,who built a huge church complex. Portion of the former McGowan farms was flooded in 1972 by Lake Harsha.More was taken by the state for East Fork Park,around the lake, and the final portion has been subdivided,and fine homes built upon it..
